Biography
With over 25 years of experience in the field of Marketing, Key Account Management and Business Development across Europe in a variety of industries, Red Tulip Business Services is ran by me, Cindy Haast.
Dutch roots
I was born in the Netherlands where I studied International Business & Languages and moved to the UK in my early twenties. The original plan was to stay for only one year as part of my studies, to improve my language skills and gain experience working abroad. The fantastic opportunities that came my way, and the small risks I took along the way, meant I was soon settling down and enjoying life in the North-East. Newcastle-upon-Tyne became my second home very quickly and I went on to get my post-graduate qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

After I successfully completed my Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications, I went on to work in not only Marketing roles but have also worked in senior pan-European Business Development and Key Account Management positions with global organisations, managing multi £ million accounts.
Having worked in a variety of sectors including Pharmaceutical, Food & Drink, Packaging Design, Construction and Defence, I broadened my commercial experience and have proven time and time again that I understand what it takes to reach out to the market effectively and accelerate growth.
I am proud of the track record I have built up over 25 years’ experience, building a vast network of contacts and business partners and making significant organisational step changes in the companies where I have worked. My passion for adding value to the supply chain, and breadth of marketing know-how combined with sales development experience, has led to the birth of Red Tulip Business Services Ltd. I personally run all projects coming in to the business, guaranteeing that Red Tulip’s clients have access to this unique combination of specialist skills. I am proud to offer Marketing, Account Management and Business Development consultancy from under one roof and look forward to working with you too.

Having expanded my professional business skillset to include Microsoft Certified IT disciplines, I am an allround end-to-end Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement: assisting clients through the full Software Development Lifecycle: From Identification, through Planning, Design, Test and Deployment. And as a Microsoft Certified Trainer I offer a range of Dynamics Training Courses.
